How It Works
A clear, step-by-step process for rural Alberta permits—so you know what’s happening, what we need from you, and what things cost.
Our Permit Process
1.
Quick Intro Call (5 minutes)
2.
Written Proposal
We send a clear proposal outlining scope, cost, and next steps within 24 hours. You review and authorize us to proceed.
3.
Kickoff Email
After signing, we email a short checklist of what we need from you. You send what you have—then we take it from there.
4.
Information Collection
We gather the details and coordinate the required documents. You’ll only be involved when we need a decision or approval.
5.
Prepare and Submit
We assemble a complete, review-ready application package. You’re billed when the application is ready to submit.
6.
Follow up to decision
We manage questions, revisions, and county communication. We keep you updated until there’s a decision.

-
Approx. building sizes and intended placement
-
Any drawings/sketches/photos you already have
-
Survey/RPR (if available)
-
Timeline goals
Note: If additional items are required for your specific county or project type, we’ll list them clearly in the kickoff email.

Quick Questions
Q: Do I need a development permit, building permit, or both?
Many rural projects require both. We’ll confirm what applies during the intro call.
Q: What if I’m not ready and don’t have drawings?
No problem. We’ll tell you what’s required and help you line up the right pieces before submission.
Q: How long does it take?
Timelines vary by county and project complexity. A complete submission and quick responses to reviewer questions helps reduce delays.
